Frequently Asked Questions
Where is Nantwich Gin made?
Nantwich Gin was created at our site in Nantwich, CW5. We have a small distillery in the Nantwich countryside where we developed our signature recipe during the months of lockdown. Our space is used for product development, bottling, ageing spirits (Dabber's Gin) and even producing some of the botanicals used in our products, such as lavender, lemon thyme and the geraniums for Sweet Briar Gin. We work closely with a local distiller to distil and bottle larger batches of the Nantwich Gin range, who is based well within the 30 mile definition of local produce. This allows us to limit travel miles until we are able to expand our site in Nantwich, Cheshire.
Can we visit the Nantwich Gin distillery?
Our site is not yet open to the public. However, we host lots of gin tasting events in partnership with our lovely stockists. Keep an eye on our social media pages (@NantwichGin and @CheshireBotanicals) for event and market announcements. Click here to see our interactive stockists map.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes! Our gins can be shipped nationally across the United Kingdom. We also offer a local delivery option for residents of Nantwich and the surrounding areas. Keep an eye on our social media pages (@NantwichGin & @CheshireBotanicals) for free shipping and other offers.
Do you have a shop?
Our shop is online only at this time, however we work with lots of stockists across Cheshire and the North West. Click here to view our online shop and here to see our stockists.
Are your products vegan and gluten free?
Our gin products are 100% vegan, even down to the glue on our labels. A wheat-based grain spirit is used to make the Nantwich Gin core range (Nantwich Gin, Sweet Briar and Matron's Strength), however the process of gin distillation removes proteins, including gluten. No flavourings or ingredients containing gluten are added to our core range products after distillation. For more information, please visit: BeyondCeliac.org.
Are you based at the distillery on the Whitchurch Road?
No - we are not affiliated with the distillery on the A530 Whitchurch Road.
