About Sweet Briar Gin
A natural pink blackberry gin | Fruity and floral with geranium
Don't like sweet gins? Don't judge this one too quickly...

Sweet Briar Gin isn't pumped full of added sugars or flavourings. Blackberries from bramble briars and a hint of pelargonium (geranium) bring a unique twist to this gin. For that extra sweet-tooth kick, serve with Fever Tree Elderflower tonic. Garnish with fresh mint and/or fresh lime.

Nantwich Sweet Briar Gin offers bright, fruity flavours, reminiscent of wild, rosy hedgerows and bramble thickets. Infused with blackberry and geranium to complement signature juniper and rosehip, Sweet Briar is a refreshing tipple no matter the season. An ode to another of Nantwich town's past residents and their scientific works. Breathe in the spirit of Nantwich and take a sip. Serve with premium tonic and enjoy surrounded by nature. No added sugars, artificial flavours or additives.

Nantwich Sweet Briar Gin nods to another of Nantwich’s historical residents, Joseph Priestley, who lived in Sweetbriar Hall during his time in the town. Priestley was an English chemist, philosopher and educator who published over 150 works and was among the first scientists to discover oxygen. Priestley also invented the carbonation process and without him, the humble G&T might look very different today.
John Gerard, the 16th Century royal herbalist and inspiration behind signature Nantwich Gin, also studied rose cultivation including the Sweet Brier Rose: commonly found in the hedgerows of England.
